I’m working on behalf of a long-standing, independent pub with rooms in North Somerset. They’ve been in the game for over 45 years and have built something special – this isn’t a chain or branded role. It’s a kitchen where chefs are trusted, the food is fresh, and the team genuinely care about each other.

What’s on Offer:

  • £34,000 – £38,000 depending on experience
  • Approx. 45 hours/week over 5 days (2 days off together where possible)

About the Role:

  • Ideal for a strong Senior CDP or Junior Sous looking for a step up
  • You’ll work alongside a well-established team with years of knowledge
  • You’ll help deliver pub classics as well as seasonal dishes with flair
  • Basic kitchen management (stock, hygiene, etc.) and leading on service when needed
  • Must be a team player with a sense of humour – culture fit matters just as much as skill

What You’ll Need:

  • Own transport – remote location, no reliable public transport
  • Comfortable working split shifts (10am–3pm & 5:30pm–9pm)
  • Willingness to be hands-on and help where needed
  • Experience in a busy fresh food kitchen

Straight shifts may be considered later for the right candidate once you’ve settled in.
