We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team, a recently opened restaurant known for delivering exceptional dining experiences and high-quality banqueting for private events and corporate functions.

As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in both our day-to-day restaurant service and the planning and execution of large-scale events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in both an à la carte and banqueting environment and is ready to take the next step in their culinary career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations
  • Lead the kitchen during service, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Assist in the planning and execution of banqueting menus and event catering
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and cost control
  • Help develop seasonal menus that reflect creativity and client needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or experienced CDP in both restaurant and banqueting settings
  • Confident running a busy kitchen and managing multiple service styles
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A calm and professional approach under pressure
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Passion for high-quality, seasonal food and guest satisfaction
