We are a fast-growing UK-based recruitment company providing top-tier staffing solutions across Hospitality sector. As part of our continued expansion, we’re looking for a skilled and detail-driven Purchase Ledger Clerk based in New Delhi to join our finance team. You will play a vital role in supporting our UK operations by managing supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payment processes.
You should have EXCELLENT English communication skills to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Processing supplier invoices and internal purchases accurately and efficiently into our accounting system.
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices in line with company policy
• Preparing and managing payment runs (primarily BACS)
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
• Assisting with month-end ledger close
• Communicating with UK-based suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
• Maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with UK accounting practices
Ideal Candidate:
• 2+ years of experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Familiarity with UK accounting standards (preferred)
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Attention to detail and understanding to investigate discrepancies.
• Must be able to work UK business hours
