Are you an experienced Meetings/Banqueting and Events Manager within the Hotel, Contract Catering or High End events Hospitality Sectors?
THE JOB:
- Day to day management of the Banqueting and Events department both delegatory as well as from the front.
- Representing the B&E Department within the onsite Management meetings.
- Management, mentoring and development of the team by providing both positive and constructive feedback.
- Development of strong and long lasting relationships with all other departments in order to ensure consistency of the service and smooth operation across the property.
- Ensuring a complete guest satisfaction in every visit and encouraging rebookings in line with the business’ brand image.
- Maintenance of the Health and Safety Standards
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Min. 2 years’ Managerial experience at running high end meetings and events within a Hotel/Venues or Contract catering.
- Strong knowledge of meeting and event basics including set ups, operations, forward planning as well as client liaisons.
- Keen eye for detail and a sense of luxury without compromise.
- Ability to engage with both the team as well as the guests.
- Ability to perform to strict deadlines.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and inventory management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and exceeding client expectations.
