We have been working with the Three Rosette Three Chimneys on the Isle of Skye for a number of years and they outsource the majority of their recruitment to us.
Despite the venue being one of the most renowned restaurants in the UK surrounded by the most beautiful views, this client struggles with their recruitment for one reason… they are based on an island off of the coast of Scotland that is 200 miles from the nearest city. It is hard enough to get a chef to move away from home but when it is to a completely different island it is a whole new story!
The Three Chimneys do offer all of their staff accommodation and also competitive salaries, but the roles always pose a challenge!
From 3 campaigns we managed to find three chefs that were happy to move away from home for their career.
