This hotel put everyone on furlough and made no redundancies – they have simply lost a couple chefs who have moved onto other things. No Chefs have left the kitchen since the hotel opened in 2019 due to the nice working environment that has been created.
There are 3 kitchens in total each kitchen is worth £150,000 and has all the latest equipment as the Head Chef is insisting on everything running as smooth as and your job as Sous Chef is to maintain this. There is an a’ la carte restaurant that uses fresh, local and seasonal food. All of the meat is from the meat supplier to the Queen, fish is all fresh from Cornwall/Devon….you get the vibe.
