Responsibilities of Sous chef
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Lead and inspire the team in the Head Chef’s absence
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Manage stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Train and develop junior team members

About You
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous chef ready to step up
- Background in high-quality fresh food environments (fine dining or premium hospitality preferred)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Passion for seasonal produce and refined cooking
- Calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail
- A positive, team-focused attitude
