We have several full time Senior Support Worker roles in the Birmingham area available, paying a salary of £23,000 per year. Permanent vacancy with job security.
You will be working within our clients’ homes providing children with the necessary activities, support, care and guidance. As the Senior on shift, you will oversee a small team of Support Workers. The children within our care may have experienced significant hardship, have complex needs and/or behavioural issues, so it is essential the successful candidate has experience in supporting children in these circumstances.
Senior Support Worker role in Birmingham Highlights:
- Shifts between 8am to 11pm
- 40 hours per week
- Generally, shifts are 1 on 2 off – but we happy to discuss other patterns if you want extra hours
- Paid overtime if you pick up additional hours
- Sleeping shifts also available on occasion
- Opportunity to progress to Care Manager
- Different locations across Birmingham – we will allocate you to the most ideal location
- On-site parking available at all locations
- Paid annual leave
Senior Support Worker role in Birmingham, Essential Experience:
- QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Supervisory/ shift lead experience within a similar environment
Access to your own vehicle is highly advantageous, but not essential.
