A little about us:
- We are an independent Peruvian inspired cevicheria & steak house in the gorgeous Whitworth Locke Aparthotel in Manchester’s Civic Quarter. We serve modern ceviche, Uruguayan Wet Aged Beef & Chilean Wagyu with a notable exclusively South American wine list.
- We are super people focussed and as a result have the option to offer a pro rata 4 day working week should you wish to opt for that and business levels permit. Our human focus reaches our guests at all levels and we set our shifts every day to give the best possible experiences to our guests.
- We're a small team. Our Head Office structure consists of our London partners, who handle accounting & payroll, Mercury Support, our compliance partners, a Brand Partner and a Managing Partner. Thus you'll be working closely with the senior management team to move the business forward. You'll be involved in all operational decisions and have input into most creative decisions too.
- We have plans to expand our portfolio either by organic growth or with our partner consultancy, so growth is not only possible, but EXPECTED!
About our Restaurants:
- Currently we have two concepts. our casual bar concept, adjacent to our main restaurant concept within Whitworth Locke, where we offer all of our coffee, tea, cocktail & small plates here which also forms our ‘at home’ product on FoodStuff.
- Then of course, our well established Peruvian inspired restaurant concept.
- We're featured in Conde Nast Traveller, National Geographic Traveller, Elle & The Creative Tourist among many others.
A little about the General Manager role:
- We're looking for an experienced General Manager to deliver our excellent history of hospitality, service and guest engagement across both concepts.
- You'll have experience managing heads of departments to get the best financial and human results out of them and achieve budget spend per head, margin, labour and consumable spends and profit.
- You'll also be responsible for scheduling against budget & forecast, holiday planning, overseeing bar stock results and management and more importantly, creating magic for our guests.
- You’ll be responsible for the execution of events in The Storehouse, the hotel event space.
- Leadership, person management, a mentor mentality and delegation with follow-up are very important to us and should be core to the way you operate.
