Full-time | Hybrid (4 days onsite / 1 remote)
Location: Central Switzerland + remote support for international luxury resort (occasional travel)
We are supporting a luxury hospitality group in the search for a hands-on IT Manager to run and improve daily IT operations across HQ and an overseas luxury island resort. This role requires strong ownership, execution, and continuous improvement across infrastructure, cloud, workplace, hospitality systems, integrations, and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
HQ IT Operations (Switzerland)
- Ensure stable workplace IT: setup, access, provisioning, support, and reliability
- Deliver strong 2nd-level support; address root causes; standardize and document
- Own Microsoft 365 / Office 365 stack:
- Entra ID for identity, access governance, groups, and role management
- Teams / SharePoint / OneDrive operations, rules, and governance
- Onboarding/offboarding & license lifecycle management
- Manage endpoints/devices via Intune / MDM:
- Compliance, configuration profiles, security baselines, provisioning (Autopilot or equivalent)
- Operate foundational email & endpoint security:
- Defender for Endpoint + email protection fundamentals
- Manage hardware & suppliers: procurement, inventory, lifecycle, replacement planning
Business-Critical / Hospitality Systems
- Develop practical understanding of hospitality flows:
- PMS, POS, payments, bookings, guest communications, service interactions
- Operate/support Microsoft Business Central (admin, operations, upgrades, integrations)
- Coordinate vendors & releases to prevent operational disruption
Cloud, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
- Operate cloud + on-prem workloads:
- Patching, updates, renewals, monitoring, & performance tuning
- Own backup & recovery routines including restore testing, playbooks, and incident steps
- Support core networking foundations:
- Wi-Fi (guest vs corporate segmentation), VLANs, firewall rules, VPN
- Manage ISPs/providers with redundancy mindset (backup links/failover)
- Own security across identity, endpoints, access governance & incident readiness
Integrations, APIs & Automation
- Partner with HQ Data Manager & Growth Manager on integrations, migrations & performance
- Troubleshoot APIs & integrations (REST basics, auth patterns, webhooks, vendor logs/tools)
- Operate CEP/marketing platforms operationally (access, uptime, integration monitoring)
- Examples: Bloomreach, Braze or equivalent platforms
- Use iPaaS/integration tooling where relevant
- Leverage automation and scripting:
- PowerShell + Power Automate/Logic Apps concepts
- Release/change coordination, runbooks & operational playbooks
Remote International Resort Support
- Provide remote IT support for overseas luxury island resort in the Indian Ocean region
- Coordinate with an on-site IT contact for hands-and-eyes support
- Travel occasionally for rollouts, upgrades, audits, and critical issue resolution
Profile Requirements
- 5+ years in IT operations with leadership responsibility and strong hands-on delivery
- Deep experience with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID administration
- Exposure to Microsoft Business Central
- Experience with Azure and AWS environments
- Cybersecurity mindset and application across identity, devices, data & operations
- Fluent English, service mindset, cross-cultural collaboration, willingness to travel
- EU citizenship or Swiss work authorization
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and/or Power BI ecosystem
- Hospitality or other service-critical industry experience
- Experience with iPaaS platforms & integration monitoring
