We are seeking a Classically trained Head Chef to lead our kitchen with passion, discipline, and creativity.

Responsibilities of Head Chef

  • Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team
  • Plan menus and daily specials with a focus on quality, consistency, and profitability
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety (HACCP)
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Control food costs and reduce waste
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy services
  • Uphold and develop the pub’s food reputation

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef
  • Must have an understanding if classical French cookery
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Calm under pressure in a busy service environment
  • Good understanding of GP margins, stock control, and kitchen admin
