Our Hotel group operate across four properties in the county of Cheshire. We have over 100 4* stunning bedrooms in our portfolio and 5 busy restaurants known for homemade, locally sourced produce, excellent service and attention to detail. We run an award winning wedding venue with top end conference and banqueting facilities and a beautiful Spa!
We are looking for an energetic, experienced and results driven Financial Controller to manage and improve our groups financial performance.
Directly responsible for a team of five, you will also proactively work alongside the senior management team to maximise revenue and profitability wherever possible.
You will also harness technology to assist in further streamlining our IT and business systems/processes.
Hospitality is a busy, varied and demanding environment that requires an element of flexibility and multi- tasking, in addition to great communication skills.
Financial Controller - Responsibilities;
- The production of clear, timely and accurate monthly consolidated group accounts.
- Presentation of the same at monthly management meetings.
- Regular financial forecasting and analysis of financial data.
- Daily management of all financial transactions and accounting records.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and statutory reporting within given timelines.
- Implementing and monitoring internal controls and expenditure.
- Supporting the senior management team in systems development across the business and liaising with IT and systems software providers.
Financial Controller - Key skills/Requirements
- AC/ACCA qualified. Hospitality sector experience beneficial.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or other senior finance managerial position.
- Proficiency in accounting software and excellent knowledge of Microsoft office including Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Previous systems administrator experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Integrity and discretion.
