Retirement Homes/Villages tends to be for people who are more self-sufficient with lower-level physical dependency compared to those living in a Nursing Home. Retirement Homes within the Village are fitted with everything needed for everyday tasks, from washing, cooking and dressing facilities. The residents tend to be more active and enjoy a variety of facilities on site such as the Cinema Room, Restaurant/Bar, Maintained Gardens and Golf Buggies for getting around the village.
However, the team are qualified to NVQ standard to ensure that they are prepared and available to assist in any situations which may arise for the residents. They also have the same warm and caring personalities to those in Nursing Homes to ensure that residents enjoy a comfortable and worry-free life within a luxury setting. Due to the lower dependency of the residents, there is a lower staff to resident ratio required.
