We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Chef to run a small, daytime café within a contract catering site. This is a hands-on role, perfect for a chef who enjoys autonomy, work–life balance, and delivering quality food in a calm, weekday-only environment.

Key Responsibilities of Head chef:
- Full responsibility for the daily operation of a small café (working alone)
- Preparing and serving fresh breakfasts and lunches
- Menu planning within agreed budgets and client expectations
- Ordering, stock control, and minimising waste
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Delivering friendly, consistent service to regular customers
- Managing all kitchen paperwork (HACCP, allergen compliance, etc.)
About you:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
- Comfortable working independently as a one-person team
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Passion for fresh, simple, well-executed food
- Solid knowledge of food safety and allergen legislation
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
