Finance Manager job in Shirley (Solihull), Job Details:

As the business takes it next step towards growth, it requires a highly competent Finance Manager who can oversee the financial management of the business, producing P&L's for its multi-site operation. The suitable candidate will be responsible for ensuring all reporting is carried out efficiently and in a timely manner whilst adding value to business operations.

  • Produce weekly snapshot P&Ls to assist senior and operational management with day-to-day decision making.
  • Deliver monthly Management Reporting packs on a timely basis for all limited entities within the group alongside relevant analysis and commentary.
  • Review monthly Management Reporting Packs with the Company Director and advise on improvements.
  • Participate in weekly Management meetings and deliver finance segment and address any concerns or opportunities for improvement.
  • Business partner with site level operational managers to ensure performance is optimised from both a revenue generation and cost control perspective.
  • Carry out operational/financial audits on transactions processed by site-level management on POS system, stock system and any other system involving financial transactions.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Manage all compliance related matters with HMRC and local authorities ensuring timely submission of statutory information and remittances.
  • Process monthly payroll for each location ensuring all figures are correct and relevant adjustments are made for attachments and deductions.

Finance Manager job in Shirley (Solihull), Ideal Experience:

  • Proven experience as Management Accountant or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office (Xero experience beneficial)
  • Suited to a newly qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with 2-3 years industry experience in a similar role.
  • Experience/ knowledge of stocks is highly beneficial.
