As with the seasons, our Garden Centres are always changing and, as the Indoor Manager, you will be ensuring that the changes happen as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Having an awareness of what’s needed at the right time and place and planning the workload for your team to guarantee that we continue to bring inspiration to our customers is crucial (after all, we have been doing this for over 120 years!)

As the Indoor Manager you will be a key member of the management team in the Garden Centre, supporting the General Manager to maintain our reputation for providing first class service, whilst improving our profitability in this commercial environment.  Ultimately, the Indoor retail department will be your responsibility, you will be empowered to lead and develop your team to deliver brilliant customer experiences, whilst you manage and control stock and wastage, maintaining health and safety compliance and enhancing financial performance within your particular area of accountability.

Indoor Retail Department Manager job in Huntingdon (Brampton) Candidate Profile:

Successful candidates will have proven experience of working autonomously within a busy retail environment, have a high level of visual merchandising skills, proven commercial awareness and analytical skills matched by their ability to lead and motivate a successful team of which they can be proud.

You are likely to have had recent experience of managing a team within homeware or giftware, including retailing seasonal ranges within furniture and all things Christmas.
