We are a 35 bed Countryside Hotel close to Bath City Centre, boasting a delightful restaurant overlooking the river with private dining and event facilities. The property has stunning views of the River Avon and the beautiful countryside surrounding it.

Sous Chef primary Job Role:
- To assist the Head Chef with achieving targets on food standards, budgets and staffing issues.
Essential Operational Skills – Sous Chef:
- Job Knowledge, Technical Knowledge, Expertise, Customer Service, Administrative and Result Orientated.
Operational Duties – Sous Chef:
- To supervise kitchen staff and to encourage self-development
- To produce and present consistent high standards of food
- To understand the business needs and requirements
- To deputise in the absence of the Head Chef to ensure that standards are maintained to the highest level
- To assist maintaining all legal health, hygiene and safety records ensuring all relevant paperwork is collected effectively and stored for audit purposes
- Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained within the kitchen
