Assistant Night Manager

£9.57 per hour, Paid for EVERY HOUR

36 hours per week contract

 

We are a luxury 4star Boutique Hotel in a quiet leafy crescent in the exclusive West End of Edinburgh, only minutes from the main attractions and surrounded by the stunning backdrop of this magnificent Scottish capital city. The Hotel provides guests with luxurious, fully refurbished rooms and suites.

Assistant Night Manager – Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Night Manager the Assistant Night Manager will maintain a consistent level of service within the Front Office Department and across the hotel.

  • Maintaining levels of service that consistently exceeds the expectations of our guests.
  • An awareness of the correct check in/out procedure and assisting when required.
  • Preparing and delivering food and drink room service orders to the correct standards.
  • Seeking opportunities to sell and up sell all areas and products in the hotel.
  • Carrying out night cleaning schedules as requested by the Night Manager ensuring that there is a high standard of cleanliness for the start of the next day.
  • Arranging the setup for our private events room for the next day’s events.
  • Running Night Audit
  • Cash handling
  • Completion of various spreadsheets relating to End of Day procedures.
  • Assisting guests with any and all requests.
  • Food preparation and drinks service.

 

Assistant Night Manager – Key Traits:

As Assistant Night Manager it is essential you can demonstrate the following skills and competencies;

  • Flexibility with shift patterns
  • The desire to deliver consistent and exceptional service
  • Be familiar with and promote hotel facilities. Assisting guests with any and all requests.
  • Personable
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Experience in food preparation and drinks service, but not essential
  • UK driving licence, but not essential
